blue exorcist season 3 release date

Both, the manga and anime of Blue Exorcist are extremely popular. This series has managed to gather a huge fan following all over the world. Fans of the Blue Exorcist series are desperately waiting for Ao no Exorcist season 3. If you are one of those fans then, you are in the right place!

Today, I will give you all the information you need regarding the release date of Ao no Exorcist season 3. But before I reveal all the precious information, let us look back at what this show is all about.

Blue Exorcist is an awesome shounen-fantasy show which is packed to the brim with excitement. This anime has a quite simple plot, but this plot is still executed in a very brilliant way.

This brilliance is followed in almost every other aspect of this show. This series is especially known for its fight scenes; the fights are very intense and praiseworthy.

I especially loved the characters in this anime. The characters in this show all have a very unique design and their personalities are so well made, that it feels like they are real people. One more thing that I absolutely loved about the characters in this show is that the characters are not too over-the-top. The teenagers in this anime actually act like teenagers.

In most anime, especially shounen anime, the protagonist is always very annoying! The protagonist overreacts to every little situation and overall seems very dumb. But this anime has a very nice protagonist! The protagonist named Rin is dumb, intelligent, calm and feisty all at the same time. The protagonist is not portrayed as just another generic dumb protagonist. Let us take a look at the plot of this anime.

Blue Exorcist follows the story of Rin Okumura. Rin appears to be just an ordinary teenager, until one day he is ambushed by demons. He finds out that he is actually the son of Satan himself and that, his father wants him to join him so that they can conquer Assiah together. Not wanting to join the king of Gehenna, Rin decides to begin training to become an exorcist so that he can fight to defend Assiah alongside his brother Yukio.

Assiah and Gehenna are to opposite worlds. The only way to travel between the realms is by the means of possession. However, Satan, the ruler of Gehenna, cannot find a suitable host to possess and therefore, remains imprisoned in his world. In a desperate attempt to conquer Assiah, he sends his son instead, intending for him to eventually grow into a vessel capable of possession by the demon king.

The Blue Exorcist anime is extremely popular all over the world, and for good reason. This anime is very beautifully crafted by the elite studio A-1 Pictures has produced some of the best anime series such as Nanatsu no Taizai, Gakusen Toshi Asterisk, and Yakusoku no Neverland. The anime is based off the manga, however, it strays quite a lot. It actually strays to the point where the fans have to wonder if the anime will any longer, even follow the story of the manga. But surprisingly, as I mentioned before, the anime is still just as loved as the manga.

Despite the simple plot, this anime is extremely entertaining. I would recommend this anime especially to the people, who are new to watching anime.

Blue Exorcist Manga:

The manga is actually loved more than the anime in this case. Blue Exorcist manga is a must-read, as it is one of the best shounen manga to grace this planet. If you want the original unchanged story, then I highly recommend that you go check out the manga. The manga gives us a more straight-forward and clean story, without any plot-holes. The manga is also just as enjoyable as the anime. One thing I absolutely love about this series is that even the clichés seem fresh just because of how they get implemented.

Blue Exorcist Season 2:

In my personal opinion, the second of Blue Exorcist was not as good as the first season. The most unappealing thing for me was the art style. It was made very soft and really made a lot of characters lose their charm. However, at the same time, the season did not stray much from the manga, as compared to the first season. The second season was still very enjoyable and I hope to find some improvements in season 3.

Blue Exorcist English Dub:

The third season will find Rin and friends dealing with a group called the Illuminati, which is led by Lucifer the King of Light.

The Blue Exorcist series has also received an English dubbed version. The voice actors in the English dub have all done a very good job. If you are new to watching anime, you can find dubbed episodes on Crunchyroll and Amazon Prime.

Blue Exorcist Season 3 Release Date:

There has still not been an official announcement for season 3, but there is still hope! If you look back, we’ll see that the first season got released all the way back in 2011 and then the second season came out, quite recently actually, in 2017. Can you see the time gap? The studio behind this marvelous show might be a little sluggish, are often busy on other projects, so a third season may take awhile. They also have other popular anime shows, like Hai to Gensou no Grimgar, Sword Art Online, and Gate, where fans are still waiting for confirmation of another series. but still, considering the popularity of this show, season 3 will most definitely happen. We believe that the second season will get announced in 2020 or early 2021.
