Arifureta Light Novel:
Ryo Shirakomes novel Arifureta, in my opinion, is much better than the anime and the manga. The novels are much more detailed and have proper pacing. Nothing feels rushed and the character development is awesome. The novels are much more engrossing. Unlike its adaptations which jumped through many parts due to budget constraints, the Light novels have a much better time explaining Hajime’s decisions and what actually went on that led to his misfortune in the labyrinth.
Although they did receive some complaints about the latter part of the story, personally for me it was a good experience. And the illustrations for the light novels were totally worth it. They contributed a lot to the overall experience.
