Chivalry of a Failed Knight Season 2: Release Date, Trailer, Plot

rakudai kishi no cavalry season 2

Chivalry of a Failed Knight is loved by many people all over the world. The first season was released in 2015 and after almost 5 years, we still have not received a season 2. However, there is still hope! We have a vague confirmation regarding the release of season 2. If you are one of the many die-hard fans of the series who are desperately waiting for a season 2 then, you are at the right place. I will give you all the information you need regarding the Chivalry of a Failed Knight season 2. But first, let us look back at what this show is all about.

What Is Chivalry of a Failed Knight All About?

Chivalry of a Failed Knight (also known as Rakudai Kishi no Cavalry) is a Japanese light novel series authored by Riku Misora and illustrated by Won. It is an action-fantasy show, with some ecchi thrown in to spice it up. At first glance, this anime looks like just another generic harem anime with the cliché tournament trope added in. Yes, the basic concept of the show is quite generic, and most people make up their minds about not wanting to watch this anime just from the plot.

However, the way in which this generic concept is executed is quite unique! In my personal opinion, the best aspect of this show would be romance. In most anime, the romance seems very forced; the girl just suddenly falls for the protagonist or vice versa. However, in this anime, romance is not forced at all.

We see how both the main characters slowly and realistically develop feelings for each other. There is some good fanservice in this show. However, the show does not focus too heavily on the fanservice and mostly, it feels natural. Let us take a look at the plot of this anime.

Chivalry of a Failed Knight Plot:

The official websites of Silver Link and Nexus say that a ‘Special‘ will be coming soon.

This anime follows the story of Ikki Kurogane, a so-called failure. Ikki lives in a world where there exist a few humans with the ability to manipulate their souls to form powerful weapons. These humans are called “Blazers”, and they study and train at the prestigious Hagun Academy to become Mage-Knights. Ikki is the sole F-rated Blazer. One day, Ikki accidentally sees Stella Vermillion, an A-ranked Blazer who also happens to be a princess, naked, she gets angry and challenges him to a duel with some dire stakes. The loser becomes the slave of the winner.

The show follows Ikki as he tries to prove his strength to a world that believes him to be the weakest, all the while gaining new friends, wisdom, and experience.
