The first season ended with Therianthrope (Humans who have animal’s genetic cells call themselves “therianthrope”) citizens gathering in an arena made specifically for Killing bites. With so many participants gathering to fight in this new killing bites battleground we are sure to get some epic fights. Of course, the one with the sharper fangs will always win.

The ending of the first season didn’t really hang us with any cliffhanger, rather than showing us a glimpse of what would be happening in the arena they only showed us the arena. In usual cases, cliffhangers arouse more suspicion for the next season yet it wasn’t the case with this anime.

Animation company Liden Films has not declared something official regarding the Killing Bites Season 2. However, there can be reasonable speculation about when, or if, the Killing Bites Season 2 premiere date may occur.

Liden Films isn’t exactly known for doing anime sequels, except in the cases of Arslan Senki and Rokudenashi Majutsu Koushi to Akashic Records. Both sequel projects were co-animated with other studios. The studio has not yet announced any projects scheduled for 2020.

Could this mean that the odds of getting a season 2 are low? We can’t say for sure yet.

Not much time has passed since the first season ended. For all we can say, It might as well be a cliffhanger for some fans. I mean they did show some new characters who are also about to participate, which can be considered a teaser.

Still, The Killing Bites season 2 release date or even the season itself is not yet finalized, could also be because they are waiting for the manga to have enough content for them to comfortably make another season the way they want, as the anime studios often skip many important points from the manga while adapting it into an anime.

The manga has been around for a while. It made its debut in 2013. There were a few delays but there’s still a lot of material for the manga readers to read.
