Nisekoi Season 3 Release Date: What We Know so Far

nisekoi season 3 release date

Nisekoi season 3 seems almost impossible at this point. But wait, there is still hope! Nisekoi season 3 might just be right around the corner. If you are one of the many die-hard fans of the Nisekoi series then, you are at the right place. We will give you all the information you need about Nisekoi season 3. Let us first take a look at what Nisekoi is all about.

Nisekoi is a brilliant rom-com anime. This anime is very popular and is loved by people all over the world. Nisekoi’s first episode aired all the way back in 2014 and, it is still relevant. The comedy in this anime is done right and is unlike the comedy in many other romance-comics which usually focus more on the romantic aspects of the show and forget about the comedy.

One thing I really loved about this show was that all the characters were very likable. The show gave proper time to each character and really focused on their character development. There is also some fanservice thrown into this anime, but the fanservice is done right and does not feel excessive at all. This anime is full of cliché tropes, but all of those tropes are executed in a very beautiful and unique manner which makes them seem fresh. Now, let us take a look at the plot of Nisekoi.

Nisekoi follows the story of Raku Ichijou, a first-year student at Bonyari High School. Ten years ago, Raku made a promise to his childhood friend. Now, all Raku has from the day of that promise is a pendant with a lock.

The key of this lock was taken away by his childhood friend before they parted ways. Raku is the sole heir to an intimidating yakuza family and all he wants is to remain as uninvolved in his yakuza background as possible while spending his school days alongside his middle school crush Kosaki Onodera.

However, when the American Bee Hive Gang invades his family’s turf, Raku’s idyllic romantic dreams are destroyed as he is dragged into a frustrating conflict! Raku has to pretend that he is in a romantic relationship with Chitoge Kirisaki, the beautiful daughter of the Bee Hive’s chief, so as to reduce the friction between the two groups. Raku and Chitoge both don’t like each other.

Nisekoi follows the daily antics of this mismatched couple who have been forced to get along for the sake of maintaining the city’s peace.

Nisekoi is one of those anime that can seriously get you hooked! Personally, I liked the first season better than the second season, that is one of the many reasons this show most definitely needs a season 3.

Nisekoi Manga:

The manga version of Nisekoi is absolutely amazing! The manga is just as funny as the anime adaption and is very easy to read. This manga is drawn quite beautifully. The manga also manages to convey the story in a more straightforward way, without the fillers. If you are one of those people who are disappointed by the second season of Nisekoi then, I most definitely recommend that you read the manga right now. The manga covers many more beautiful arcs after season two.

Nisekoi English Dub:

The English dubbed and the English captions of Nisekoi season 1 and season 2 can be found on Hulu and Crunchyroll with English subtitles.

Nisekoi Season 2:

Nisekoi Season 2 was a very good addition to the anime series but, not quite as good as the first season. The second season did not have a lot of story development and felt like a filler season. This really forced some die-hard fans to switch to the manga. However, the season still retained its glamour in the comedy department. The second season was just as funny as the first season and was quite enjoyable, despite the fact that it didn’t have much story development.

Nisekoi Season 3 Release Date:

Nisekoi season 3 seemed impossible at one point, but the release of a live-action adaption of the series really gave some hope to a lot of fans. The release of the live-action movie really proved that Nisekoi is still relevant after all these years. Fans of the series are still desperately waiting for season 3. Considering the fact that Nisekoi is one of the most successful projects of Studio Shaft, season 3 might just happen! There has not been any official announcement, but we speculate that Nisekoi season 3 could get announced sometime in 2020, and then later get released in 2021.
